The Hurunui is our dedicated whitewater packraft for more technical rivers up to Grade 3. Based on feedback from our customers all over New Zealand we have improved the design of the Hurunui:
- The bow has more volume and an improved shape for stability
- There’s more foot room
- The stern is wider for better surfing and turning into eddies
- The tube design is improved for better ‘carving’
- It looks great too!
The Hurunui Series is fitted with a TiZip airtight and waterproof zipper that allows you to store gear inside the tubes. The Hurunui Series has two options to deal with water entering the cockpit – spray skirt or self-bailing. You choose.
